Exhibitor: ENVAPRO
Hospitality packaging specialist Envapro will be presenting its range of ‘anti-waste’ food packaging at the HIP hospitality trade fair, which Ifema Madrid will be hosting from 10-12 March. This line is specially designed for restaurants and catering establishments in general, in line with the Food Waste and Loss Prevention Act, which is about to come into force.
This regulation, which is in the final stages of its parliamentary process, will oblige bars and restaurants to offer their customers free of charge leftover food in packaging, which is why Envapro proposes its family of ‘kraft effect’ containers that stand out for their versatility and sustainable profile. Made of cardboard, these containers are suitable for both hot and cold dishes, making them a practical solution for delivering all types of food and preventing them from ending up in the trash.
In addition to these products which help to comply with the new regulations, Envapro will be exhibiting from an 80 m² stand a wide range of its take away packaging catalogue, including cardboard packaging, sugar cane, wooden cutlery, paper bags, personalised packaging, napkins, cutlery, tablecloths and other key accessories for the modern catering trade. As part of the fair, Envapro's stand will be the setting for the live broadcast of the ‘Más de Uno’ programme on Onda Cero Madrid Sur, presented by Agustín Bravo, on 11 March.
This space will be attended by important personalities from the world of catering and packaging linked to Envapro, such as World Central Kitchen, Facyre, Do EAT, Hola Coffee and Ecoembes. Envapro's Director of Strategy, Carlos Ortiz, will give a talk entitled ‘Business strategies to innovate, grow and be profitable’ in the New Business & Concepts auditorium at Ifema, and Envapro will also be holding various tastings at its stand with brands such as Icesoft (ice cream), DuckYou (specialists in lacquered duck) and the Venezuelan restaurant chain Merecumbé.
Envapro's display at HIP will also feature major international packaging manufacturers such as Safira, Trendpack and KMK, furthering its commitment to sustainability in the Horeca sector.
